Eligibility Criteria for Pak Army Short Service Commission Jobs 2024:
Eligibility for Pakistan army jobs through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) is for citizens of Pakistan. The educational qualification differs from post to post: for Army Education Officer, a Master’s degree (16 years of education) is required in related subjects; for Law Officer, an LLB degree and enrollment with Pakistan Bar Council is a must; for Psychologist Officer, a Master’s in Psychology is needed; and for Remount Veterinary and Farms Officer, a DVM or a degree in equivalent, registered with Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) and is a must. Medical fitness and renouncement of dual nationality upon selection are also conditions for candidates.

For applying for the allocation of the position of Captain in the Pakistan Army through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC), aspirants are required to register online at joinpakarmy.gov.pk and fill in the application form in full. Upon registration, they shall report to their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RC) along with the registration slip for written, intelligence, and personality tests.
AS&RCs are situated across Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, etc. The successful will be medically examined at AS&RC before being called for the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) evaluation. The ISSB conducts interviews and aptitude tests, followed by a final medical evaluation. Candidates must bring original academic certificates, CNICs, and passport-sized pictures to each stage of the process. Online registrations are open from December 2 till December 31, 2024.
