Agriculture Department Punjab Subsidy Scheme 2025 For Laser Land Leveling

The Government of Punjab has launched a special project Agriculture Department Punjab Subsidy Scheme 2025 under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to help farmers use water more efficiently and increase their crop production. This project is called the Water Efficiency Scheme. In Punjab, a large part of irrigation water is wasted due to uneven fields and old farming methods. To solve this issue, the government is providing farmers with modern laser land leveling units on subsidy.

By using these machines, farmers can level their fields properly, which allows water to spread evenly and reach the roots of crops without wastage. As a result, farmers will save water, grow healthier crops, and make more profit. The scheme not only supports farmers financially by giving up to 50% subsidy (maximum Rs. 10 lakh) but also encourages them to adopt modern farming technology.

This project will benefit 1,400 farmers across Punjab during the years 2025–26 and 2027–28. The main goal of the scheme is to create a more productive and sustainable agriculture system in Punjab, so that farmers can secure better harvests with less water use.
