Eligibility Criteria for Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat Islamabad Jobs 2024:
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria for the posts in the Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat: For appointment as an Advisor (BS-20/21) in the Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat, a retired officer of any CSS Occupational Group (preferably Customs or Inland Revenue Service) from the Government of Pakistan should have at least twenty years of experience in government/semi-government offices for tax policy and tax administration matters, especially about Customs, Income Tax, or Sales Tax.
For the Assistant Advisor, BS-20 applicants must possess at least a graduate degree. Additional preference will be given to applicants having undergone a 6-week basic IT Training Course with MS Office. In the case of the Assistant Advisor (Accounts), the Retired Accounts Officer must be from AGPR/CGS, Islamabad.
SAS/PIPFA qualified candidates are given preference here, and similar IT training criteria have been considered. The maximum age of the Advisors is set to be 65 years by age limit, while for Assistant Advisors, the age limit is 50 years.
