All tests conducted under the purview of the New HEC Jobs 2025 are open to individuals considering postgraduate studies. This includes students seeking admission for MS or MPhil courses, applicants for PhD programs, as well as candidates for New HEC Jobs. Register through the ETC portal no later than June 16, 2025.

These candidates would have completed a qualification of up to 16 years of formal education and would register through the ETC portal by January 20, 2025. The test is scheduled to be conducted on June 16, 2025, and test scores will be valid for a duration of two years.

Eligibility Criteria for HEC Aptitude Test 2025:

Indeed, they have to make their applications for admission in MS/MPhil and PhD or any HEC scholarship via the ETC portal before the last stage of selection. This is considered a necessary condition to be included in the selection process against these programs or scholarships.

Having a good holding of 16 years of education or holding an equivalent qualification shall, according to the test category of his/her application, ensure eligibility for appearing in the test as well as is required as a necessary academic foundation in that regard.

The applicants from the below fields are eligible to apply for the test:

• HAT-1: Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics
• HAT-2: Management Sciences, Business Education
• HAT-3: Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Psychology, Law
• HAT-4: Agronomy, Veterinary Sciences, Biological & Medical Sciences, Education, Media & Mass Communication HAT-General: Religious Studies (Madrasa Graduates)

The test scores will be valid for two years of scholarships and admissions, giving ample time for testing the scores.

Details of New HEC Jobs:

New HEC Jobs will be tentatively scheduled on June 16, 2025. All rescheduling is done for any examination only on the original site of the HEC, https://hec.gov.pk. The name of the two ETC portals is https://etc.hec.gov.pk.

Registered candidates should download their Roll Number Slips a week before the exam date from the ETC portal or get it through their registered email. Email/SMS would be sent to candidates for the test date, timing, and test center. Candidates should bring a printed copy of the Roll Number Slip and original CNIC/Passport to the test center.

Confirm that your registration details are right and that you have received your Roll Number Slip before the date of the examination.

Higher Education Commission Aptitude Test 2025 Application Process:

• To apply for the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT), you need to visit the official website https://etc.hec.gov.pk and fill out the online registration form.
• While filling out this form, you need to select the appropriate category based on your academic qualifications.
• Complete the required form with the necessary information and submit it once all the information has been added.
• Unless submitted, applications will not be processed, so make sure that your application is a complete one.
